Charlotte, NC: Local Attorney Sabrina Winters speaks with the Charlotte-based podcast Roman Around with Roman Perryman. Sabrina Winters and Roman will discuss legacy planning and leaving their mark on the world beyond their lifetime. The main focus, however, will be the journey each has experienced along the way.

She is passionate about helping women thrive after separation from a spouse or marriage ended due to death. With this in mind, she supports women who go through great levels of pain and those who are living with their own personal or professional difficulties. She is more than an estate planner; she is a light in the dark for many that have no idea where to turn or what they need to do. “I have always stayed true to who I was and allowed that to lead me. “ -Sabrina Winters.
Right out of law school, she positioned herself to be around wise people so she could absorb knowledge. Much of her core principles and procedures within her firm today are still closely based on that knowledge. Moving to North Carolina from New York, her first position was at a solo practitioner’s office. She was reminded how far from the top she actually was due to the extreme level of inequality at the firm. “That experience helped me, even more, to map out what I didn’t want this Firm to be.” -Sabrina Winters.
Later, she was advised by a well-known female attorney that changed her life. She ultimately decided to handle things in her own way. “Why do women have to choose one or the other? It’s ok if we decide that we want to make a choice. But don’t tell me I don’t have the choice to choose.” -Sabrina Winters.
